Whole Health Therapy Study
Thank you all. I am extremely grateful for the overwhelming amount of interest that everyone has shown for my Whole Health Therapy study. With the participants in place, I will begin the six month study on July 1, 2008.
Participants have randomly been placed into three groups. Two of these groups will be receiving weekly whole health therapy sessions (one through regular distant healing sessions and the other through the new Reiki box methodology). The third group will serve as a control group.
The purpose of this research is to fine tune my current Whole Health therapy methodology. Currently, I use a traditional distant healing technique similar to that used in Reiki. The energies I send are a special blend of twelve frequencies for pain relief, increasing energy, balancing moods, and enhancing mental clarity while encouraging movement towards resonating with the genuine self, living a purposeful life, and being happy. Each session lasts for one hour.
The Reiki box technique allows the very same energies to be sent over the course of a 24 hour period. In this way, the benefits of Whole Health therapy sessions can be enjoyed over the course of an entire day, without the disruption of taking time out to receive sessions the traditional way.
Over the course of months, I will be comparing the effectiveness of this new methodology against that of the traditional method and a control group. Specifically, I am looking at the side effects of the therapy (disruption caused during test days) as well as changes in frequency, duration, and intensity of common Fibromyalgia symptoms.
Periodically, I will be posting updates about the study and other Fibromyalgia resources on my blog at http://wholehealththerapyforfibromyalgia.blogspot.com/.
